ABOUT GURO CELINA T. DUFFY
Guro Celina T. Duffy has over two decades of training in various external and internal martial arts, including Wing Chun, Baguazhang, Daitoryu Aikijujutsu Roppokai, Ninjutsu, Reiki, and Qigong, and is one of the few renowned female instructors in Filipino Martial Arts. Over the years, she has taught numerous martial arts workshops and seminars, and has been featured in Inside Kung Fu, FMA Informative, Flipside Podcast, Kali Konversations, FMA Discussion, and City on the Edge Stockton Documentary. Guro Celina was honored to showcase Filipino Martial Arts by the Philippine Consulate General for Philippine National History Month and by Immortal Studios at the Martial Arts History Museum.
As an educator, she is passionate about sharing her martial arts knowledge with the community through universities and organizations such as ArtCenter, Cal State Fullerton, UC Santa Barbara, FASGI, Carson Middle School, FilAm Arts, LA County Filipino American Employers Association (LACFAEA), and Pilipino Worker’s Center for Stop Asian Hate. Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) is also known as Kali, Eskrima, and Arnis. In this 2-day workshop, Guro Celina T. Duffy will cover the fundamentals of FMA including triangle footwork, single & double sticks, empty hands and the 12 strikes of the Jack Santos Method.
